This will prevent the papaya from freezing into one big chunk. Once in the freezer, make sure the Stasher bag is laying flat. And finally for the papaya, I peel, deseed, & chop a fresh papaya before adding it to a Stasher bag & popping it into the freezer. I really like the Organic Mango Chunks from Trader Joe’s. I like having them on hand so I can just add them to smoothies as needed! I’d suggest purchasing pre-chopped frozen mango chunks from a store instead of using fresh mango. Like other smoothies that require frozen fruit, you’ll want to make sure your fruits for this tropical smoothie are prepped ahead of time & are fully frozen.įor my smoothie prep, I store frozen halves of bananas in a Stasher bag in my freezer.
